Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Grammatique (ru.grammatique.app) is run by the operator of ru.grammatique.app. Contact: the feedback form (menu → Feedback)

2. What we keep

  • Email — to sign you in and send sign-in codes. It is never shown to other users or passed to anyone except the email delivery service.
  • A public nickname — how you introduce yourself. You choose it yourself and agree that other users see it. We do not ask for your first or last name.
  • Settings: your role (learner or teacher), languages and theme.
  • Learning and communication: exercise results, your dictionary, topics you ask for and materials you upload, assignments, what happens in online lessons, messages sent through the feedback form, your plan and promo codes.
  • Technical data: your IP address — only as a one-way hash, to protect against abuse; anonymous usage statistics — without your email, IP address or anything you type, and not collected when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

3. Why

To run the platform and protect it from abuse, to improve it and the quality of its materials, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell data, show ads or build advertising profiles.

4. Who receives data

  • Other users see your nickname; a teacher sees their learners' results, assignments and lessons. No one sees your email.
  • Partners and service providers working on our instructions: hosting and database, checking and processing of texts and files, email delivery, usage statistics, and Yandex if you sign in with Yandex. They may be outside your country, including in the USA, the EU and Russia. Uploaded files are deleted right after they are processed.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Please do not put personal information into your requests, materials or remarks.

5. Cookies

We use only the cookies the platform needs — to keep you signed in and to remember interface settings — so we do not ask for consent to them. Your progress, dictionary and similar settings are kept in your browser. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

6. How long we keep data

Data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account in your profile: your data is deleted at once, and topics you made stay without your nickname. When you ask us to delete it, we do so within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep. Usage statistics are kept for up to a year.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent. Your nickname and account are managed in your profile; for anything else, use the feedback form — we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

8. Children

The platform is for people aged 16 or older; younger people only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the date above changes, and important changes are announced on the platform.
